To all lodge members,

The North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police Rocky Mount Lodge No.46, WILL NOT endorse any lodge member running for a position of political office if both candidates are members of our lodge. The reason we will take a neutral position in this matter is due to the past experiences I have encountered with other FOP Lodges across the State. It is a known fact that a lodge will become divided when this type of issue is brought forward to its members. As your lodge President this is not the direction I want our lodge to take.

I will however forward information out through our email to all lodge members, as long as it does not negatively portray the other member/candidate involved. Nor will we as a lodge publicly takes a side on any position or issue that is brought about by the members involved.
